Today is the 5th day of #cny and we went for louhei! ^^ Not sure if we will do this every year but two year back, there were only the 4 of us. This year, we had full attendance with two other fellow iemes :D Maybe someone should just call everyone for this. Next year next year!!

Week 3 just passed like that and we are pretty much settled with our timetable. Mods registered for my final sem in ntu is pretty "relaxing", half studio work, half lectures. Didn't expect it to end this way but I have my fyp to slog for. Boo.

Dont know since when I am starting to like Chinese, Imperial, History types of shows. I highly suspect it was since 2 years ago. I am so hooked on this Chinese drama now I feel like flying back to bj now. Maybe i really left my heart and soul there I constantly feel like going back. But again, maybe no, cos I constantly feel like going to every other place as well. Oh yes! Speaking of which, I am pretty much settled for my grad trip and I cannot wait! ^^ Trying to keep it not too long, since I might be away from home for some time, if everything goes as scheduled.

I had my first wine tasting experience today in school today! Ogay, maybe not so exaggerated, it's more like just hoping around with a glass on the left and laptop on the right to the different stations. I am so not into alcohol, I dislike most of them. Maybe only the really really (lack of vocabs) sweet like ants-loving-sweetness ones, I think they taste like gassy drinks. Sparkling wine, or dessert wine, they call it. Whatever it is, I felt pretty useless there.

Bye, I am finally running something from my Matlab, which btw had been lying like a log for the longest time.

Read my best friend's blog, only to realize that we all realize that we are really growing up. Talking about work and future plans. Maybe we are too excited for each other, maybe because we are flipping into a new chapter, or maybe there are simply too many uncertainties. Life as it is, we move on and accept things, before we really breathe about it.

Well, I was stunned when Chia turned around to ask me what will I be doing after this. O.O (maybe not that big) but i just replied "I don't know" It's such a irresponsible answer, i know, but I was really unsure of what is going to come and I don't want to be sure of things that even I am unsure of :( Years ago, mum told us we might be moving overseas and throughout these 4 years, she's been asking me if I am interested in taking another degree and of course, her profession will tell you which course she wants me to enroll into. I thought it was okay initially, as in I won't mind taking that up. But I thought about it and honestly, I don't think that is what I really want to do for the rest of my life. So, after my first job interview about 2 weeks ago, I derive some conclusions. I have to say that even though I didn't secure the job, at least I get some exposure to interviews and yes, the next one shall be better!

So,
1. I desire for a job that allows me to have a more flexible working hours and preferably, involves traveling.
2. -

That's it.

But that is if I get my ideal job, else, I will most likely further studies *keeping my fingers crossed*! Since times are bad (not sure why but we hear this every year).. Well, we shall see. Whatever it is, I feel that I am ready for anything so, BRING IT ON!

On another note, SG's service has a WHOLE ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT. I really wonder where is the first world/world class service that we always claim. Everywhere's service is deteriorating and it is so annoying. While comparing ourselves with world class countries like Swiss or even like HK, Japan for other matters like GST, public transport prices etc, why don't we compare the quality of service as well? Sometimes it's really basic courtesy, y'know? Cannot understand. We really need more locals in the service line, who HAVE THE HEART TO SERVE. I am getting too many confused looks whenever I ask for a glass of ice water, ask if the bus goes to a specific location or if there is a new piece of apparel per se. BOOOO. Boo their bad service tone away and hostile manners.

Singing has been my passion since young but one thing that I realized is that I never really pay any special attention to the lyrics whenever I am singing. Unlike in choir when we really need to interpret the words and meaning of the song, pop music is really something for leisure and only music with special effects like unusual chords or tunes, or the singing techniques or digital sound effects will attract my attention and make me listen. As such, I can listen to the same song over and over and over again. I recently listened to IU-Good Day for 249 times and that's over 3/4 days, mind you. I am appalled by that also but she is such a good pop singer, I really cannot resist her songs! So anyway i went on my iTunes to see what other songs I have and I realized that I actually have quite a lot (>500) of songs that i have not even played ONCE BEFORE. I am so sorry to those singers! One of my many plans of the hols will definitely be to play my entire iTunes once at least. Yes, I will conquer that.

On the other hand, if you haven't realized, I have been typing pretty formally for this post. Maybe I should do this for all other posts. It is visually professional (at least I think so). Whatever it is, I am starting to blabber rubbish. Let me put an end to this. Bye world and see you all in the next post - BEIJING JULY 2010.

i'm ill, again, for the second time this semester. i felt like a dragon, which cannot stop wriggling in my bed, gonna spit fire all over the walls seriously. fortunately loved ones came and threw all sorts of medicine at me i was much better this morning. then later, mum returned from a half-day leave to accompany me to the docs and get real lunch. AND I GOT SUSHI WHEEEE. i tried my first salmon sushi in my life and it was GOOD.

on that note, i never tried raw fish sushi in my life because i thought it's equivalent to buying fish from jurong fish market and slicing it and putting it on rice. which btw, i hate wet markets (but i still make the effort to try accompany my mum at times). BUT I HAVE BEEN CATCHING THIS HK DRAMA FOR THE PAST WEEK about sushi and ALL THEIR SUSHI LOOK SO BANANA GOOD I FEEL LIKE EATING MY SCREEN (if you get what i mean). because of that, i decided to try and yes, i did! it was so good, i am going to try some more if time permits.

Plans change all the time.

"I WILL REALLY GO FOR WAT" -> "oh no! no more slot!" -> "yes, let's go for the 4 mth one!" -> "Maybe i should change to internship" -> "Just go travel la"

And there are like 20 more hiccups in between. This is so annoying :( But i can understand from all their point of views. What can I say?

Have to learn that not everything will go your way and there are always more than 1 determining factor.

I am still glad that my parents are willing to sponsor. Count myself lucky on that!
